About

Built for the part nobody plans for.

Prolifex Bio exists because the hardest stretch of a life science program is the one between a working result and a product, and most teams aren’t staffed for it.

01The firm

Life science teams usually form around a scientific or clinical insight, and that makes sense. What comes after is a different job: characterization, requirements, design control, scale-up, supplier qualification, claims, evidence, reimbursement.

None of it is glamorous, and all of it matters. Left late, it turns an eighteen-month plan into a four-year one.

That’s the stretch we focus on. We sit inside the program, do the work with your team, and hand it back when they’re ready to run it.

02Founder

Eric Hennessy

Prolifex Bio is founder-led on purpose. The work draws on more than two decades of developing and launching medical technologies, which means knowing which risks are real, which are noise, and which won’t show up until it’s too late.

That includes contributing to patented innovations and working alongside the people who make products work in the real world. It’s a broad view, shaped by the technical, operational, regulatory and commercial realities that decide whether good ideas move forward.

That’s why an engagement starts with a diagnosis, not a proposal. Someone who knows where to look can often spot the constraint in a stalled program after a couple of meetings. From the inside, where everyone is too close to it, it’s almost never visible.

“Teams rarely need another opinion. They need someone to do the hands-on work that turns a promising result into something you can manufacture, approve and sell.”

03How we operate

What you can hold us to.

We are practitioners, not advisors

We write the protocol, run the analysis, build the cost model and draft the document. A recommendation nobody has time to act on isn't much of a deliverable.

We say what we think

Even when the answer is that the program isn't ready, the market isn't there, or the problem you hired us for isn't the one in the way.

We don't take work we can't do well

Some areas are better handled by someone else. We'd rather tell you that early and point you to them.

Tell us what's stuck.

Describe the problem in your own words. You'll get a thoughtful reply from someone who has solved something like it, not a scheduling link and a discovery call.
